Women’s Retreat 2017
The Presence of the Holy Spirit

September 29-30, 2017

Join us as we explore ways to “see” the presence of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives. Stay overnight on Friday or come just for the day on Saturday. Childcare is available if pre-registered.

Our speakers include:

Pastor Martha Butzier will lead us in learning what scripture has to tell us about God’s Spirit. Her first career as a nurse and now as an interim pastor has her in a unique position to see God’s Spirit at work. Powerful words will be shared in lessons and music.

Deacon Lisa Huber, has experienced the joy of renewal in her second career as a Deacon in the ELCA. In this 500th year of the Reformation Commemoration, our church and ourselves, are always in a state of renewal.

Julie Rothamer Cruz, a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach will join us. She will teach how essential oils can help our body, mind and spirit to be open to allow the Holy Spirit in us to work through us.

Jamie Healy, a yoga instructor and Reiki practitioner will lead us in the restorative practice of stillness and movement. Jamie feels blessed to be able to engage in a career that she finds so meaningful. She meets you on the mat exactly where you are and honors your unique presence, purpose and path.

We want all to feel welcome. What are the barriers for you? Travel? Cost? Child care? Please contact Kathy to help with your arrangements: kmpielage@gmail.com.

Friday (lodging and meals) $90
Saturday (meals included) $40

There is also the opportunity to create a to-go freezer meal for an additional fee of $8 each. We will be making Enchiladas.

Also available are 15 minute chair massages for a fee of $8.

Scholarships are available. Prayerfully consider what you can contribute. Registration covers food and housing. Please contribute some, all, or more of the costs in order for all to be welcomed.
