Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events
May 2; 6:30-8:30pm

Bethel will be hosting a presentation called ‘Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events’ by the Madison Police Department on May 2, from 6:30-8:30pm in the Community Room. Please join us!

Have you ever wondered how to respond during an active shooter event? This two-hour training will help you develop the mental, physical and emotional skills critical to an effective response. Topics include:

  • Critical Incident Stress
  • History of Active Shooter Violence
  • Perception of Disaster
  • The Police Response
  • Resilience/Response Tools
  • Tabletop Scenario Discussions
  • Question and Answer Session
