Vacation Bible Camp 2019
August 5-8 at Bethel Horizons
Children ages 3-12 are God’s agent of change, exploring how forgiveness, inclusion, justice, generosity, and compassion are at the heart of our community. Stories, songs, crafts, and exploration in the mornings, swimming and beach fun in the afternoons!
Morning begins at the Prairie Center with an opening celebration of songs and the day’s Bible story. Then we’re off to discovery centers in small groups of campers with a Discovery Guide and Horizons’ Troop Leaders. Governor Dodge State Park is the afternoon destination.
Buses and vans leave from Bethel’s parking lot daily. Children may stay for the full day or stay overnight in a retreat center. Children under 8 years old who wish to stay overnight must be accompanied by an adult. Please note: all children who stay overnight must have had a physical in the past 12 months.
Transportation leaves Bethel’s parking lot at 8am sharp each morning (7:45am arrival time).
A bus returns to Bethel’s parking lot at 5:30pm Monday-Wednesday and at 8:30pm Thursday.
Family dinner at Bethel Horizons on Thursday starting at 5:30pm at no additional charge!
