Faith! Family! Fun! are woven together to help children experience God’s grace and love through music, art, movement, bible stories and more. Prayer, friendship, and small group connections within the classroom are emphasized. Sunday Kids’ Ministry is offered weekly, in two sessions, during the academic calendar.
Need to get in and out quickly on a Sunday morning?
No problem! Join us for any part of the morning – pop in for music, art & movement, small group in the classrooms or JAM (large group) in Borgwardt Hall.
We know it can be really hard to get out the door on Sunday mornings.
Please do not stress about being on time or having it “all together.”
You are always welcome!
We are so excited to see you!!
P.S. JAM (10-10:25am) is for ANYONE!
We would LOVE to have caregivers, parents, grandparents, siblings join us for JAM.
All are welcome.

Preschool Kids' Ministry Overview
Bethel teaches our preschoolers three simple, but powerful, truths. The entire curriculum is constructed to meet your preschoolers where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. Through age appropriate activities, preschoolers are building their spiritual foundations so that by the time they graduate to Kindergarten they know these three basic truths:
1. God Made Me
2. God Loves Me
3. Jesus Wants To Be My Friend
Kindergarten – 5th Grade – Kids' Ministry Overview
Families attend the 9am worship service together in the sanctuary. During the service, children are invited to experience the Children’s Moment with a Bethel pastor and then follow Kid’s Ministry teachers out for the remainder of the Kids’ Ministry programming. From the Children’s Moment go to Kids’ Ministry JAM (“Jesus And Me” featuring the day’s theme, story, and songs), Kids’ Ministry, and Choir or Kids Fellowship.
The curriculum is focused on three basic truths:
- I need to make the wise choice
- I can trust God no matter what
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated
and is designed to provoke discovery and invite kids into a new understanding of how to grow in relationship with Jesus.
Kids' Ministry Milestones
Bethel is committed to equipping parents with experiences that foster their children’s life in faith. In addition to Sunday morning instruction, we offer Parent Cue which help parents talk about the Kids’ Ministry lesson. We also offer a link to online games and videos that reinforce the weekly Kids’ Ministry Lessons.
We assist parents and sponsors to “place in their hands the holy scriptures” by presenting our Kindergartners with a copy of SPARK! Story Bible, featuring stories from their Kids’ Ministry curriculum in February. Third grade students receive a copy of the SPARK! NRSV Bible in September and prepare for and celebrate Holy Communion in May. All Kids’ Ministry students are invited to participate in the annual Christmas Pageant.
