Bethel Lutheran Church is a community of people with a wide range of interests and skills. We welcome the ability to partner with our friends & families to provide services to, not only our campus and congregation but our surrounding neighbors as well.
Short-term and long-term volunteer opportunities are available and helping hands of all ages are welcome.
Sound Board Operator
Manage soundboard during services. Sit at desk and control microphone levels.
- Time required per month: 7:30-10:15am on Sunday; typically one day per month
- Duration of volunteer commitment: Ideally, one year.
- Type of training provided: On the job training with supervision (80 minutes)

Steensland House Board Member and Service Coordinator
Serve on the Steensland House Board and be responsible for recording the required monthly service of Steensland House residents and reporting that information to the Board. Optimally, this volunteer would prepare occasional Bethelite articles describing the service work being done.
- Time required per month: 1-2 hours per month contacting residents; 90 minutes per month for Board meetings
- Duration of volunteer commitment: Ideally, one year
- Type of training provided: Previous volunteer will provide orientation

Do You Love to Sew?
Bethel has a group of women who are making blankets for Baptisms. Basic sewing or quilting skills are helpful. If you are interested in being a part of this group and would like to find out more about what we do, please contact Mary Anne Smith at masmith204@aol.com or 262.930.8844.
Sunday Morning Worship Teams
Sunday morning volunteer worship teams are vital to providing a smooth-running and enjoyable worship service. Serving in one of these ministries can enrich your faith and connect you with other members. Food Pantry Volunteers Needed
The Bethel Food Pantry would like to invite anyone interested in volunteering to join us in the very worthwhile mission of the food pantry. There are a variety of ways for everyone to be involved.

Sunday Welcome Desk Host
Sunday Receptionists needed. We are seeking volunteers (or be paid) to serve on Sundays from 8a-12 noon.

Do you enjoy welcoming people, making connections, and helping people feel cared for? If your answer is “Yes!”, then this is where you belong! Duties: Answer basic questions, give directions, receive donations of goods for various ministries are a few of the simple tasks. We have a flexible schedule with two shifts: 8:30-10 a.m. and 10:00-11:15 a.m.

Library Help Needed
Volunteers are needed to help in a bright, sunny environment helping extraordinary people check out materials from Bethel’s library. No prior experience is necessary. There are two shifts to choose from 8:45-10:15am or 10:15-11:45am.
