Starting Mother’s Day, May 11th, through Father’s Day, June 15th, you can send monetary support to Hephatha Lutheran Church, a Bethel mission partner in Milwaukee, serving a largely African American congregation.
Black infants in Wisconsin are 3 times more likely to die before their 1st birthday than white infants. Hephatha’s Strong Baby Sanctuary ministry addresses this crisis through sessions for families who are pregnant or have infants and young children, providing basic baby needs, community resource connections and much more.
