Caring for Creation (C4C) is rooted in the four Harmonies of the Bethel Bible Series: living in harmony with the environment, others, ourselves, and God. As Lutheran Christians, we are called to care for both people and the Earth, recognizing our shared responsibility to protect and nurture God’s creation.
C4C events highlight the connection between climate responsibility and social justice. Why? Because caring for creation encompasses all people—regardless of race, background, or location. Human actions, policies, and choices significantly affect the health of our environment and our collective future. The impacts of climate change and pandemics are felt most acutely by the poor and vulnerable. Through C4C, we aim to address these challenges and work toward a more just and sustainable world for all
