Tuesday, October 18 at 7pm in the sanctuary
The fabulous pipe organ in our sanctuary balcony sounded its first chord 58 years ago. Considered at the time one of the largest and finest organs in the Midwest, our amazing Schantz abides in its legacy of greatness, having been carefully maintained and attended to over these decades by fine and gifted musicians and the congregation at large. It stands today a hallmark of Bethel’s music and worship life, accompanying, leading, and inspiring our congregational song and dazzling us with its heights, depths, and surprises. It is a Spirit-filled gift.
Join us in celebrating our great pipe organ and praising God for the gift of music at 7pm on Tuesday, October 18, the same day the organ was dedicated in 1964. Zach Busch will perform solo and with Bethel Brass. A freewill offering will be collected to benefit future organ projects at Bethel.
