Faith! Family! Fun! are woven together to help children experience God’s grace and love through music, stories, games and crafts. Prayer, friendship, and small group connections within the classroom are emphasized. Sunday School for children and adults is offered every week from September through May.
The month of candy hearts and oversized stuffed bears has arrived. It’s the month we set aside each year to celebrate our love for those we hold near and dear. And what says “I love you” better than a box of chocolates or cards that play music when you open them?
As thoughtful as these things are, Jesus has a few different ways of showing us how much He loves us. Jesus shows His love for us by simply wanting to spend time with us. Jesus wants us to come to Him – anytime, anywhere – just come. Jesus shows He loves us by helping us. And, Jesus loves us no matter what.
God is love. As we read through God’s One Big Story in the Bible, we see an epic love story unfold that started in a garden with a perfect relationship between God and His creation. When Adam and Eve sinned and broke that relationship, God didn’t give up on creation. His love for us drove Him to make the ultimate sacrifice: sending His one and only Son, Jesus to pay the ultimate price to make it possible for us to be with God forever.
LIFE APPLICATION: Love - Choosing to treat others the way you want to be treated.
MEMORY VERSE: “Here is what love is. It is not that we loved God. It is that he loved us and sent his Son to give his life to pay for our sins.” 1 John 4:10, NIrV
Bethel teaches our preschoolers three simple, but powerful, truths. The entire curriculum is constructed to meet your preschoolers where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. Through age appropriate activities, preschoolers are building their spiritual foundations so that by the time they graduate to Kindergarten they know these three basic truths:
Bethel’s Sunday School is the place that the yellow light of church intersects with the red love of family. Involving family – and their infinite influence on their child’s life – is key to growing in the faith. Children leave the sanctuary after the children’s sermon at the 9am worship service for Sunday School Jam featuring the day’s theme, story and songs. From there they go to their small group classrooms until 11am, having the option to sing in choir during the last half of classroom time.

Bethel is committed to equipping parents with experiences that foster their children’s life in faith. In addition to Sunday morning instruction, we offer Parent Cue which help parents talk about the Sunday School lesson. We also offer a link to online games and videos that reinforce the weekly Sunday School Lessons.
Families are invited to attend the 9am or 11am worship services.
