The Camera Club is a group of amateur photographers who enjoy opportunities to share and enhance their skills in photography. The Club was founded in 1978.
This club meets the third Monday of each month, September to May at 7pm at Bethel. Monthly meetings include a presentation on an area of technology or special interest and a sharing time when members show their prints, slides and digital images as a “show and tell” or travelogue.
The Camera Club welcomes anyone interested in photography to join.
Christian Men’s Fellowship is for men who are retired. It meets the first and third Tuesdays, September to June. Coffee is served and a time for visiting starts at 10:30am. At 11am, we begin with brief devotions, followed by a short business meeting. Next follows a 45 minute program on timely topics led by special guest presenters. Lunch is served at Noon, and the cost is $5.
Men’s Current Christian Concerns is a discussion group for men which meets at Bethel each Thursday morning at 7am to discuss topics from stem cell research to foreign policy (and all in between) within the context of Christian values. All are welcome.
The Bethel Friendship Club meets at 6:15pm on the second Friday night of each month from October-June. Most meetings are in Bethel’s Borgwardt Hall, with the annual June picnic at Lakeview Park in Middleton.
Men’s Friday Book Study meets each Friday morning at 7-8am for fellowship, a cup of coffee, and lively discussion. This group meets September – June. The group reads a book of their own choosing and studies it at their own pace. New men always welcome to join!
The Saturday Morning Book Study meets weekly at 8am for study, fellowship and prayer. New members are welcome. Call Bethel’s office (608.257.3577) for current class location. The Saturday morning group is reading Sacred Thirst by Craig Barnes.
Bethel XYZ (eXtra Years of Zest) group is an interdenominational group that serves men and women who have reached their 55th birthday.
The mission of XYZ is to strengthen our mutual faith in Jesus Christ and the bonds of friendship through fellowship and service. XYZ believes that life is a gift from God and that aging is a natural part of living.
