There are many different ways to serve God. Bethel members are involved in the community in a variety of ways.
Bethel Builds
Bethel Builds is the housing ministry of Bethel Lutheran Church, Madison, WI. We have partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Dane County and are currently seeking volunteers to help with various aspects of a Habitat build, known as the "Apostles Build". The Apostles Build is a collaborative effort of several area churches and Habitat. The build is located in the Northport Commons area of northeast Madison.
This is a great opportunity to share your time, talents and energy with others, to connect with others, to learn and grow in many ways, and to have fun in the process! The interaction and connections that take place during a Habitat workday are among the most rewarding aspects of being involved in an effort of this type. Local Flood Relief
At present there are four potential work sites from the 2008 Wisconsin flood disaster that are ready for our work assistance. The work involves drywall, basement clean-out, and lesser repairs. All persons interested in helping may contact Mike at 221-4900 or gourlie@tds.net
