Join Bethel Youth to repack food for the hungry! We’ll sort and repack food for giving out at food pantries to folks who have bare cupboards.
It’s spring break for most of you – meet at Second Harvest, 2802 Dairy Dr., or contact Elisabeth for a ride. Sign up below so we know how many to expect – and a signed release form will be sent in advance for you to bring to the event.
6-8th grade students are invited to affirm the promises that were made for them in baptism on the second Sunday of the month in small groups from Sept-May. In addition, students take classes, go on retreats, and serve in the community.
The Bethel Youth Music Ensemble (BYME) is a vocal and instrumental music ministry group, open to all Bethel members in 6th-12th grades. Amy Hartsough will serve as director with the goal of youth being the driving force behind leading our congregations in song. As with all our ensembles, there’s no audition; just a desire to put what God gave you to good use.
Singers and instrumentalists are needed and welcome.
BYME will lead sung worship in the Sanctuary and Pentecost Room four times this year.
Come celebrate 500 Years of the Reformation in Germany, June 18-25, 2017! Four youth directors from our synod will lead this trip to Wittenberg, Elseben, Eisenach, Erfurt, Leipzig, and Berlin in partnership with Levia Tours.
Confirmation Retreats happen each year in fall and spring at Bethel Horizons. Confirmation students are invited to participate in at least three during their confirmation journey. Our spring 2017 retreat for 6-8th grade is:
Sat, April 22 @ 8:30am – Sun, April 23 @ 9am (Adventure on the Ropes Course!)
To register, please contact Elisabeth. Each retreat costs $85 due at event. Please bring completed BLC Youth Medical Release (only if not already on file).
Sunday morning volunteer worship teams are vital to providing a smooth-running and enjoyable worship service. Serving in one of these ministries can enrich your faith and connect you with other members. If you are interested in more information or shadowing someone to see if you would like to join a group, please contact Lisa Huber.
