of Horizons
Join the Friends of Horizons and
assist at Bethel Horizons with spring and fall work projects. These on
site projects include painting, garden planting, prairie planting,
landscaping, wood hauling, Nature Center and Retreat Center cleaning and
repair. Each year people are chosen from this group to serve on the
Friends of Horizons Board. Gifts: Leadership.

Friends of Horizons Fund
Raisers- Based at Bethel Church
1) Lenten Lunches/Dinners
Each spring the Friends of Horizons
serve lunches and dinners on Wednesdays through Lent. Friends are needed
to work in the kitchen, assist with serving, and clean up.

2) Norwegian Lefsa and Bake Goods
Each fall a group of Friends gather
to bake lefsa and Norwegian cookies. Friends are needed to rice potatoes,
make lefsa, package lefsa, bake and package cookies. Several work days are
posted in October and November.

3) Friends are also asked to
contribute cakes during the Lenten season and pies for the Bethel
church picnic in early June.
