| The
Church Library
Bethel's
new Library opened February 2, 2003 with books, magazines, and
computers in place. We heard rave reviews from Bethel members: "Now I
know where Iım going to go after Sunday school," "I never knew we had so
much to choose from!" and "It's so light and bright!" Many thanks for
all the hard work done by the library staff for organizing this huge
project! The next goal is to computerize our inventory of materials.
The library provides educational and
spiritual resources that enhance and support the ministry of Bethel
Lutheran Church. It provides:
a collection of written, audio, and
video materials for the development and support of Bethel's
ministries
devotional and inspirational resources
for children, youth and adults
print and non-print materials that
increase our knowledge of our own faith and others, enrich our
worship life, and provide information on social and economic issues
resources to support the pastoral care
of the congregation
collect, preserve, and display
publications about Bethel Lutheran Church and its activities,
serving as its archives.
The library is open on Sunday and Tuesday
mornings from 8:45 - 12:00, and by calling Lori or Jacqui at 257-3577.
