Ministry
Bethel's Sunday School is for children ages
2 - 6th grade and is offered at 9:15 and 10:45 on Sunday mornings.
At Bethel our
ministry to children involves:
Faith, Family, and Fun. We are committed to working
in partnership with parents to plant the seeds of God's love and grace
in the lives of children.
Sunday School Milestones
Bethel is committed to helping equip parents to develop their children’s
life in faith. We offer quarterly devotionals, FaithHome for Parents
topical brochures, and special devotional material for Advent and Lent.
In addition, Pastor Katie Baardseth leads parents and their children
before they receive My First Study Bible in kindergarten (Jan 27, 2008)
and The Contemporary English Version (CEV) Bible in fourth grade (Sept
30, 2007).
She also provides an overview of Holy Communion to kick-off the 5-week
study culminating in our celebration on First Communion Sunday, May 18,
2008. Plan to attend this festive worship as all are welcomed to
celebrate The Lord’s Supper and to revisit the meaning of the Sacrament.
All children participate in the annual Christmas Pageant on Sunday
afternoon, December 16, which is followed by a family dinner.
