The
Parish Nurse Program
The Parish Nurse
program provides for church and community members wholistic care for the
mind, body and spirit with compassionate respect for the individual. It is
based on a relational model which nurtures and builds relationship with
God, others, self and life.
Programs and
services offered are:

Health history
assessments and blood pressure screening for seniors

Hospital and
home visits for the ill and homebound

Office visits
for health education and referrals

Spiritual
counseling related to emotional and physical health needs

Opportunities
for health professionals in the church to minister to others and share
their professional and spiritual gifts
-
Opportunities
for members to share in a "Care Team Ministry," a ministry
that partners with other members that have non-medical type
needs
