The Performing Arts Series at
Bethel seeks to enhance the mission of the church through the performing
arts. For many, a heightened spiritual experience comes from listening
to music in a religious setting. The goal is to showcase choirs,
organists and other performers to which the Madison community and area
does not normally have access.
The BETHEL PERFORMING ARTS SERIES
presents annually winners of the Dallas Organ Competition and of the
Chartres Organ Competition. Past organ
performers at Bethel have included Dame Gillian Wier, David Schrader, Todd
Wilson, Stewart Wayne Foster, Hie Rie Lang, and James Diaz.
