We are called to serve one another. Jesus tells us to love one another, stranger and neighbor. As a community, we support one another in the ups and downs of our journeys. We grow together in faith, nurturing every member of the body of Christ.
In such a large congregation, it becomes even more important to ask for the care we need. If you or someone you know is in need of a visit, would like communion, has an upcoming surgery or hospitalization, please let us know. You can fill out an online visitation request form, or contact one of the pastors.
Are you in need of a pastoral visit? Would you like a lay member to visit you once a month or even on a weekly basis? Do you need communion? Fill out this confidential form which is sent directly to a pastor.
In the hospital? Bethel calls the hospitals three times a week, but occasionally, names are not reported to us or someone is not officially listed under Bethel’s name. A Bethel pastor would love to come see you, but please let them know!
Stephen Ministry is a ministry in which trained and supervised Bethel lay persons provide one-to-one Christian care to individuals facing life challenges or difficulties. This may include the bereaved, hospitalized, terminally ill, separated, divorced, unemployed, relocated, and others facing a crisis or life challenge. Stephen Ministers are caring, Christian friends who listen, understand, accept and pray for, and with, those who are working through a crisis or tough time.
