Adult Discipleship takes many forms at Bethel. On Sunday mornings at 10:15 there are in-depth Bible Studies, such as the Bethel Series. There are seasonal Bible Studies that occur every Lent. Throughout the year there will be topical issues addressed in various settings. In each of the varied offerings faith formation is explored as individuals explore what it means to be a faithful Christian.
The stage is set for the 500 year celebration of Martin Luther’s Reformation within the Lutheran Church. Interestingly we at Bethel, find ourselves, poised to begin a journey which could also be reformative.

Pilgrimage is the process through which someone becomes a “member” of Bethel Lutheran Church. Rather than a class, it is a journey that intentionally seeks to connect a person’s faith with their daily life. Whether this is an initial connection being made by those new to Christianity, a reconnection for someone returning to faith, or transferring from another congregation.
Pilgrimage works through an intentional process of targeted education, building meaningful relationships and involving the entire congregation in the process; and by making thoughtful connections between an individual’s gifts, their service and ministry. We recognize how each new individual’s gifts can potentially reshape the Bethel community.
