Join us for worship on March 2, 2014 at 9:00 am for
J.S. Bach Cantata No. 29 "We Thank Thee, God"
Music will play an important role on Transfiguration Sunday as the Bethel Choir offers Cantata No. 29 of J. S. Bach – “We Thank Thee, God” in worship. This season of joy culminates with this musical thank offering which incorporates some of our young people as “trebles” in the choir. Guest soloists, Amy Hartsough and James Doing are familiar to Bethel members and violin, trumpets, timpani and organ will add excitement to this special 9 am worship at Bethel.
Klassics for Kids, sing J.S. Bach Cantata No. 29
with Bethel Choir on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at 9:00 am Worship Service
Kids love to sing and experience success in lending their voices to something
larger than themselves.
We experienced a sample of that last November when the Cherubs, Children's Choir and Youthful Praise joined with the Bethel Choir and handbells in an anthem for Thanksgiving. Their excitement was awesome!
We are about to embark on another such opportunity to sing with the Bethel choir and a small orchestra. There will be trumpets, oboes, strings and timpani with us to perform Bach Cantata No. 29, "We Thank Thee, God."
