Women's Ministries Bethel's Women's Ministry consists of groups geared for the needs and interests of women. They are open to all women. this ministry is overseen by the Women's Coordinating Council which seeks to represent all women of Bethel from a variety of groups such as the 20 Women's Circles, Church Ladies, Lydia's House and Bethel Bookwomen. It is also a link to the South Central Synodical Wisconsin Women's Organization, as well as to the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. The purpose of the Council is to share information about projects, programs, and missions and to share concerns of the women of the church. The women's groups represented on this Council support missions throughout the Madison community and the world through monetary contributions; quilt making, layette, and health, and school kits.
The next WCC meeting will be held on April 10, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Bethel. Future WCC Meeting Dates are July 10, 2012 and October 9, 2012.

People who must flee their homes quickly often do not have time to pack essential items. Personal Care kits can help refugees maintain personal hygiene while living in exile. Items may also contribute to a new start for those who can return home.
