Confirmation Wrap Up Sunday, May 19

During this time each homeroom will be sharing what they have been up to during the year. They will share information about their "Give and Grow" projects, share pictures and provide insights into what they have been learning. If you would like to learn a bit more about what Bethel confirmation is like, please join us at 10:05 on Sunday, May 19 in the Pentecost Room.

 

Confirmation Program

Young people in grades 7-9 participate in a two and one-half year program to confirm the promises that were made for them in infant baptism.

Monthly homeroom classes meet on the second Sunday of the month starting in September and ending with a special homeroom wrap-up on the third Sunday of May.

In addition to regular worship, students take classes, go on retreats to Bethel Horizons, and perform community service. Social events and fellowship are always a part of this program.

This intensive faith-development process is key to strengthening their faith prior to adulthood. Such preparation may greatly affect their future life-decisions. The Confirmation ceremony takes place on the last Sunday in October.
