Confirmation

Young people in grades 7-9 participate in a two and one-half year program to confirm the promises that were made for them in infant

baptism. Monthly homeroom classes meet on the first Sunday of the month. In addition to regular worship, students take classes, go on retreats to Bethel Horizons, and perform community service. Social events and fellowship are always a part of this program.

This intensive faith-development process is key to strengthening their faith prior to adulthood. Such preparation may greatly affect their future life-decisions. The Confirmation ceremony takes place on the last Sunday in October.
