The Bethel Speaker Series

The Bethel Speaker Series annually presents noted persons in an afternoon and evening presentation. Underwritten by The Bethel Endowment Foundation this series has presented such notables as Martin E. Marty, Will Willimon, Walter Brueggmann, Dr. James Burtness, Steven Carter, Walter Bouman, Rev. Dr. Peter Storey, Kathleen Norris, James Nestingen and Ralph Winter.

 

April 16 - Dr. G. Timothy Johnson

TV Medical Communicator Dr. Johnson served as Chief Medical Editor for ABC News for 25 years, providing medical analysis for Good Morning America, World News, Nightline and 20/20. He has written several books, most recently, The Truth About Getting Sick in America. Dr. Johnson will be available for book signing following the presentation. Copies of The Truth About Getting Sick in America will be available for $5 each.
